I just discovered this book by Morgan Fitzsimons, called "Enchanted Sarah" it about a girl named Sarah who finds the Twilight Star, a key allowing her Elven ancestors passage into the 21st century. This begins the dilemma of who Sarah really is and her voyage to find the answer. Issues she only gave passing thought to become important, such as enchantment, what is evil and what is not, environment and lifestyle, and how to reconcile the Elven affinity with nature and today’s heedless destruction of it. The discovery of the villainous Jefferson Hemlock and the reforming of the dragon Tal-git, an immortal enemy of her ancestors, Golden Elves, Enchanters and witches impose a world far different from her own. The meetings with the mysterious Arin (is he friend or foe) and issues far beyond the normal day of a teenager such as world domination and terrorism take her on an exciting, dangerous, adventure of discovery.

You can find this and many other great stories from Morgan Fitzsimons at Amazon

I've purchased over 50 stamps from Sweet Pea Stamps. I just love their images, there business is based on quality and value. I love the way they take pride in their deep etched, thick rubber stamps and appreciate their customers. Their stamp line ranges anywhere from whimsical to artistic. AND they guarantee there quality, I had an issue once with one of the stamps have a crease (which was not their fault, the mail system had crushed it) and they replaced it, no problems, all I had to do was e-mail they and they fixed it! :) Here is a sample of one of my favorites, the original artist is ching-chou kuik's Winter Watcher I hope to post "one-a-week" so that would be a year's worth!
I used charms, buckles, and copic markers.
I hope you like it.

Today I am posting my design team project for the challenge over at Scrapbook Stamp Society Challenge Blog. The theme is "Pretty in Pink", which is my absolute OMG favorite color in the whole wide world.

For my project I chose to make a Pink Clipboard.

I used a small 6x9 clipboard I purchased at Michaels for .99. I covered it using American Crafts Cardstock. I printed off the Lil Sue image which is by the Artist Heather Valentin onto white Neenah card stock and placed in on a "Pink" mat. I have colored her in using Copic Markers. I have distressed the edges using Momento Pink Dew Drop Ink. I have added a pink ribbon, and lots of pink embellishments from my stash along with mulberry flowers from IAMROSES.

On the upper corners I used lace from a wedding dress, and also added hand made crochet cherries on the upper corner. I used the ribbon roses on the bottom edge from American Crafts. I absolutely LOVE this clipboard. I hope you enjoy also. This item will be for sale at my Etsy Store!

Please hop on over to Scrapbook Stamp Society Challenge Blog to see what the other design team have created for this challenge and I look forward to seeing some of your entries too!
